MENNEKES
What is the number of mating cycles that the MENNEKES charging cable coupling is designed for?

Our coupling is configured for 10,000 cycles in approx > 3 years at 10 charging processes per day.

Does MENNEKES conduct internal controls for detection of corruption?

Yes, of course. Such controls are conducted on a regular basis with the required diligence.

What information does the residual current detection provide?

If residual current detection is present, this means there is an error or damage in the core insulation. The other possibility: The user has plugged in the cable in the wrong sequence. Correct sequence: 1st the household outlet, 2nd the vehicle

Who is responsible for maintaining the unbalanced load?

The installer of the product solution, i.e. the electrician, is responsible for maintaining the unbalanced load of a charging cable. The cable is only the the medium through which charging occurs. The resistor coding in the cable ensures that no more current can be transmitted than is needed for the purpose for which the cable was designed.
